Optical Devices
Black for optical equipment,
built to suppress stray light.
The smallest reflection becomes noise, a false detection or a measurement error.
Here are the black materials that solve reflection problems in optical equipment.

FAQ
Which one has the lowest reflectance?+
In the visible range, IR Flock Sheet and Musou Black Carpet (coming soon) have the lowest figure, 0.3% reflectance.
But "lowest" is not the same as "best for your use." Only a few materials can go on a floor, and in tight spaces inside a device a thin sheet like FINESHUT is often the better fit.
If you also need to cover the near-infrared (NIR) range, check the wavelength range each material covers.
Which is best where dust must be avoided, such as clean rooms?+
We recommend the FINESHUT Series.
It was developed as an anti-reflective material for the inside of optical equipment, and its structure generates less dust than napped materials. It has been used for many years in areas with high cleanliness requirements, such as sensor peripherals.
Can the sheets be cut into complex shapes?+
Yes.
FINESHUT and IR Flock Sheet can be laser-cut to your design through our Laser Cut Service, from a single prototype to volume production.
If you cut them yourself, a combination with thin double-sided tape can also be cut with a commercially available heat cutter.
→ Laser Cut Service
Can I get a sample before adopting it?+
We are sorry, but we do not provide free samples.
FINESHUT is available from 245 × 200 mm and IR Flock Sheet from A4 size, so please start with a small quantity.

We also take technical inquiries.
"Does it work in this wavelength range?" "Can it be cut to this shape?"
